"Thanks for coming and keeping the positive energy at our school." "You take time out of your life to help me and I'm thankful for that." "Thanks for coming and keeping the positive energy at our school."
Volunteers play a crucial role in our community of affection. Since our founding in 2009, the School has attracted an extraordinary group of compassionate individuals who come from all over the City to help us. Our volunteers give thousands of hours of time and expertise, invaluable resources as we attempt to offer the best education possible to our students. Our volunteers often share that they receive as much as they give. We invite you to join us!
Volunteers serve as tutors, classroom helpers, lunch buddies, reading buddies, mentors, or administrative/office helpers. We also welcome help for building maintenance and beautification projects.
We may work on reading and math, but it’s really all about loving the kids.
