Our Philosophy
At Anna Julia Cooper School, we believe education is about more than academic skills—it’s about building a foundation of purpose, empathy, and confidence. Serving students in grades K–4 in our Lower School and grades 5–8 in our Middle School, we nurture in every student a love for learning, a commitment to community, and a spirit of curiosity.
