Each year, hundreds of students and families apply to join AJC's well-known community of affection, yet limited space prevents us from welcoming them all. Through our Hope Grows campaign, we are expanding our capacity to embrace more students, more families, and more hope.
Hope Grows Capital Campaign
$18 Million: Lower School Building and Field
Construct new lower school facility with gym & outdoor play space
Add a second class per grade (K–5), doubling our capacity
Increase enrollment from 186 to 268 students
Build an athletic/play field on N. 28th Street for K–8 students
$15 Million: Multi-year Operating Support
Long-term success depends on strong staffing and reliable resources:
- Fund additional teachers and critical student support professionals (reading specialists, counselors, health staff)
- Supplement the annual operating fund during the expansion
- Provide for ongoing maintenance of new facilities
$4 Million: Endowment
Strengthen the school’s endowment to ensure long-term financial sustainability
