Anna Julia Cooper School is a private, faith-based school whose mission is to Love, Educate, and Uplift students and graduates so they may realize their God-given gifts. We welcome students and families from all religious faiths, racial and cultural backgrounds, and family structures.
Through the generosity of many, all students at Anna Julia Cooper School receive a full-tuition scholarship valued at $21,500 per academic year.
In keeping with our mission, admission decisions are based heavily on these criteria:
Anna Julia Cooper School primarily serves families whose adjusted gross annual income does not exceed approximately 200% of the federal poverty guidelines as published each year.*
We will consider families that exceed the financial admission criteria on an individual basis. We ask ALL families to provide their most accurate and honest financial information, annually.
*Please consult the chart below and note that a household includes any child or adult living in the home.
