Graduate Support
High School Placement

The graduate placement process begins with sixth and seventh graders to get them thinking about high school and what kind of school they would like to attend; we help students make the connection between their effort in school now, and how that will impact them as they start to apply to high school. Informal guidance emphasizes academics and character, along with exposure to area high schools through tours and special events.

In eighth grade, the staff works individually with students and their families to determine which high school would be the best fit (a school where they will feel both comfortable and challenged to reach their full potential), and guides them through the application and admissions process. We work with students on test preparation for entrance exams such as the SSAT, essay writing, and on the financial aid application process.
